CRC Sabre

CRC Sabre is a 6.8 work boat from Ribcraft’s ‘Offshore’ range. Sabre was factory fitted with towing bollards and tube protection panels. An oversize windscreen gives good weather protection and there are several handholds forward for safer foredeck working. Sabre also has a large water proof deck mounted kit locker. She is powered by a Suzuki 250hp outboard engine with a cruising speed of 25kts and sprint speed of 40kts.

CRC Sabre is fitted with VHF, DSC, plotter, sounder, LED navigation lights and deck floodlighting. Optional equipment includes ‘Class A’ AIS, an either blue or orange class 1 strobe light, handheld searchlight, loudhailer and silent running generator. Sabre is suitable for a range of uses including safety, guard and patrol work, general workboat duties, shallow water surveying or dive support. Branding and signage can be applied to the tubes and console to warn other water users of the vessel’s role.

CRC Sabre is coded to MCA Category 3R and can be operated 20 miles from a safe haven during day or 3 miles at night. Sabre is also IMCA compliant and conforms to CMID and MISW standards making her an ideal workboat for offshore projects. Sabre is also coded to work on the River Thames. Available both with a skipper and on bareboat charter, CRC Sabre can be delivered anywhere in the UK or Europe in under 24 hours.
