You might remember back in April our operations teams here at CRC set themselves the grueling challenge of spending 24 hours together on board a liferaft, supplied by Universal Safety with very basic provisions in support of RNLI – Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
Unfortunately, due to a number of projects coming in at the last minute, our team had to be mobilised to various projects and as a result the challenge had to be postponed.
However, we are pleased to announce that the new date has been set and with the great British weather proving even more unpredictable at this time of year, 24 hours on board has just got more challenging.
Our team of five will now be anchored within the Lymington Yacht Haven Marina from 5pm on Thursday 12th October 2017 so if you are local to the area please come along, show your support and if you are keen to make the experience more realistic then buckets of water are very welcome.
Thank you to everyone who has already shown support and generously donated. If you haven’t yet donated and wish to show your support then please click here.
