Well. It’s been another busy season here at Commercial Rib Charter and we wanted to give you a little update as to what’s been going on behind the scenes.

HQ News

New to the CRC Teamnew staff

Felix Morris-Duffin has joined the CRC Operations team as our ‘in house’ lead skipper and will be the main liaison between our operational crew and office. Felix will spend most of his time going between projects skippering and checking on vessels, crew and clients. Felix has joined us on a full time basis, is highly qualified and extremely experienced – Welcome to the team Felix!

We’re improving our offices!

As our team and fleet grow the need for more HQ space has increased so we have spent time looking into possible options to facilitate this. After a lot of thought and consideration it appeared that the most sensible option would be to connect our current workshop to the office space at the rear of  the building which is currently unused. Adam Barker will be leading this project so look out for updates on his progress.

Fleet News

CRC Vanguard

CRC Vanguard, our 12.5 m multi role cabin Rib joined our fleet in July and was built by Ribcraft and fitted out by Seacraft Marine.

Although she joined us late in the season CRC Vanguard has already been super busy on projects and received lots of positive feedback from both clients and skippers.

New CRC Van

We have recently purchased a Peugeot Expert Combi van which we will be starting on a year long project due to commence early October – This purchase means we will still have sufficient vehicles onsite to manage and support other projects.

Lights, Camera, Action!

CRC Gladiator had a busy summer supporting an international filming project. Here are a few pictures which show off her rigging and fittings required to ensure the perfect shots were captured. We think you’ll agree, it’s pretty impressive!!
